Does the Washington DC Metrorail map work without internet?
Yes. The Washington DC map, station search and route planning work offline, so they keep working underground, in airplane mode and with roaming off. You sign in once so your saved journeys and history follow you between devices.
Which lines are included?
All 98 Metrorail stations and six lines. Excludes MARC, VRE, Amtrak, streetcars and buses.
How does it choose a route?
Pick fewest stops when you're in a hurry, or fewest changes when you have luggage. Regular service patterns include Yellow trains to Greenbelt and Silver trains to New Carrollton or Downtown Largo. Not live: check destination signs and operator alerts. Stops and changes are optimized, not journey time.
Can I search Washington DC stations by code?
Search by English name or station code where the network uses them, and metroinfogo finds the same station.
